Mother's Day Hike

Today we went to the Little City of Rocks for a hike.  When we arrived, we were the only ones there, but a crowd was starting to arrive as we were leaving.  Perfect timing, it was getting warm anyway, and Emily had an afternoon riding lesson with Meghan.

Emily and I went on a hike out Adam's Gulch on Saturday. We like those trails because there is a sunny side and a shady side.  It was a bit cool, so we took the sunny side.

 We also decided it was safe to go to a riding lesson.  Meghan sanitized all of the brushes for Emily, and Emily is independent enough as a rider that she is able to put on all the tack and ride without having to get close to Meghan.  She rode Smokey and they were jumping cross rails and verticals before the lesson was over.
