Travel to and from Curacao was an adventure - both ways we had a 12 hour layover between the three planes it took. We departed in the late afternoon so we were able to go see more of the island before leaving.

Day 3 consisted of picking up the rental car and getting to various points around the island. We saw flamingos, drove through Williwood (a tiny tropical village sick of anonymity so they built a sign), and checked out where the gun range was located - our entire reason for being in Curacao in October. Ironically we had to go by Sun Valley to get to the range.

Aaron had developed cold like symptoms and spent the second day at the resort while Emily and I went to Mambo Beach Blvd. We started off the day at the Curacao Sea Aquarium before grabbing lunch and enjoying the beach and warm Caribbean waters.
