January Wrap Up

For Aaron's birthday, Emily made eclairs all on her own.  

The gym meet that Magic Valley Gymnastics was hosting was cancelled due to Covid regulations, so the coach had the parents come watch all the events since we are not allowed into competitions.  Her next meet is this Thursday. 

Emily had her last riding lesson for the winter.  The facility where Emily was going changed their policy to only allow people who own or lease a horse to use the indoor arena.  We did look into leasing a horse, but it just wasn't possible with a busy gymnastics schedule.  

 

New Years

 We spent New Years at Rotorun, our little local skill hill with a tow rope.  Emily took skies for night skiing.  

And because of a donor, lift tickets were free for kids through the holidays, so we went back during the day so Emily could try it with the snowboard.  Learning the tow rope with the snowboard was a challenge, but she finally got the hang of it!
