Special Arrangements with the Easter Bunny
Another week is in the books. She did an excellent job at her swim lessons on Monday night. Part of me is surprised that we've been doing weekly lessons for almost three years now, and it's amazing to see how comfortable she is in the water now. Not to mention swimming laps is pretty exhausting!
After a two week break from Swiftsure, it was back in Stuart Little's saddle Thursday night. Despite it being a little chilly that evening, the 4 riders, walkers, and instructors headed off on a trail ride. Seeing her on the spunky pony is always a little comical, but especially so when the other three riders and horses tower over her. Never fear, you can just see Emily's confidence when she's in the saddle and it dwarfs the others!
Friday was spring pictures at school. Then afterward, the two of us headed to the Sun Valley Village for an Easter Egg hunt that promised 5,000 eggs (and it seemed like there was just as many kids!!!)
The decision had also been made to do our own hunt at home Friday evening. There had been a question on whether or not Aaron could be here for Easter, and we wanted to ensure that he could be part of the Easter traditions here at the Hughston household. Aaron had told Emily he sent an email to the Easter Bunny to make a special arrangement for our eggs to be delivered early, and the promise of eggs was delivered! I think the pictures above show her excitement as she zoomed around the yard filling up her basket for the third time this season!
